Kaiser Permanente

The project wouldn’t have been possible without the support of volunteers from Kaiser Permanente who came down in April of 2013 during the early stages of the garden and did everything from building beds to building benches. We can't thank them enough for their continual support of the Garden on Mars project.

Hands on New Orleans

This wonderful local organization facilitated the project and continues to support us by supplying passionate volunteers and donated materials.

Ohio State University

Thank you to the 200 Ohio State alums (not to mention the university president, mascot, and band) who volunteered on the garden in December 2014 while in town for the Sugar Bowl - they collected tires and cleared out all the trash within a two block area. (That's a lot of trash!) Watch this video to see them in action.

Butler University

Students from Butler visited us in the spring of 2015 on a rainy day to paint tires, which we transformed into planters. Thank you Butler!

Overland High Schoolers

A special thanks to the high school volunteers from Overland Summers, who’ve visited Garden on Mars for two summers, both 2014 and 2015. They’re always enthusiastic to lend a hand (even on 95°F days with 110% humidity!)

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps volunteers donated their own paint to create our colorful Garden on Mars logo, which still makes us smile everyday.
